The attention to detail is what sets this little 9-holer in Norland, Ontario apart from the rest, IMHO. The pride that the family that owns and operates Monck's Landing has in the course is readily apparent in every inch of the place. I saw bunkering at Monck's Landing I've only ever seen elsewhere in Canada in pictures of Cabot Links in Nova Scotia! Beside the 1st green is a stone wall which looks like it was airlifted in from Scotland! The stone barn overlooking the 9th hole is the only one like it Canada, I was told! All-in-all, it's the details like this that can make you forget that you're not actually in Scotland, or that you're not on some high-end private club. If you don't believe me, try out Monck's Landing yourself and tell me that I'm wrong.
