I worked for Les Kowalski (crenz concrete) two years ago. I worked for him three straight pay periods without pay until I decided enough was enough. After the first pay period he said he couldn't pay me, but he promised to pay me in full on the second pay period. After the second pay period he said he still couldn't pay me, but he would pay me on the third pay period. Well, to this day I still haven't got paid. I filed a complaint with employment standards against Les Kowalski where he was issued an order of officer on behalf of employment standards. He was given the opportunity to appeal which he did not as he is guilty in the matter. In this case Les Kowalski currently owes $4,735.13 payable to the director of employment standards. Les Kowalski has disappeared after receiving this notice and is currently being investigated by collections services of his whereabouts.
