Company description
Final dedication in year 2012 after all the landscaping had been finished, made for the LIVING soldiers who survived the wars of WW!, WW2 and the Korean War. A completely separate monument from the Cenotaph 1929. Beautifully designed by the architects. The brain child of a very dedicated Dave Edgerton who followed it through to the end despite a lot of turmoil with City Hall. It holds over four thousand names of the very brave people ( a lot were First Nations) who volunteered to fight so we could have our freedoms in the democratic countries. More of my Fyple Peterborough sites are Walkway Of Rembrance, Boyd Park(Smith Town Hill Parkette), Braetop Cotage, Kirkview, Smith Town Hill House and Cenotaph 1929. WAY TO GO VETS!
