I woukd like to share my experience with serenity ranch, outside Lacombe, AB. I booked my estranged husband into the facility and paid fourteen thousand dollars. At the end of the program he moved in with the counsellor that was there to heĺp him remain sober. The two of them lived together for a year and then she ended the relationship because he continued to drink. I guess serenity ranch cannot cure addiction issues, however you may be able to find romance. Unfortunately my four children and I still have to deal with alcholism and now we cannot get him into a facility because he does not trust that they can help him.
