I wish I could give this place 0 stars. AVOID this "salon" at all cost! I am not one to complain, especially publically, but everyone needs to know to go elsewhere. I used to come here all the time, even though staff turnover is high, but after today will never go back. I went in today with mid-back, almost one-length hair asking for one inch to be trimmed off. She kept insisting I needed layers, which I told her MULTIPLE times I did not want. She did it anyway. She cut layers up to my ears! (She started at the back of my head, so I couldn't see what she was doing until it was too late). When I told her I thought she was cutting it too short, but to finish without taking these unwanted layers any shorter, she took that as I did not want her to finish my haircut. She did cut the sides, but I didn't see how little she cut from them until I got home and straightened it (my hair is fairly curly). This is the worst cut ever! Short layers at the back, and none in the sides/front. And the main length of my hair ended up from mid-back to just below my collar bones! What kind of "professional" would let someone leave with half of a haircut?!. When I went back to see if someone else could fix it, I spoke with a different girl, one I had seen before. I started to explain my concern, but was interrupted and I was told, in these words: "you are not a stylist, you do not know hair! This cut is beautiful! She is the best at layers!" Both workers agreed. They did not listen to me at all, especially when I said this was not even close to what I asked for. I know I'm not an expert, but I do know my hair very well, and layers is the last thing I need. This will take more than a year before it will resemble anything close to what I like! How disrespectful of them to treat a customer in this manner! What difference does it make if I'm a stylist or not? I can still pick out a bad haircut when I see one! I will never go back, nor will my family and friends. I hope no one else has an experience like that again! Avoid this place! Take your money somewhere else, where they will listen to what you want and will treat you with respect!
