Karen is certainly no stranger to the Canadian Old Time fiddle culture. She has been involved in this Canadian culture throughout her lifetime. Some of the highlights of her career include the following:

Sister to Fiddle Champion Don Reed, Karen has cut her own path into musical textures and realms that transcend her 'old time roots'.
Currently, Karen is a much sought after fiddle instructor, performer, fiddle competition judge,and is the director of the Orangeville Fiddle and Step Dance camp. Karen is also a freelance workshop and fiddle camp instructor.
Karen has been teaching fiddle for over 25 years and has been sought after and is available for competition coaching from fiddlers across Canada and the United States. She offers lessons to students of any age and teaches a variety of fiddle styles.
