I went with my students and was disgusted to see about 200 dogs chained to individual poles without any social interaction/stimulation. They were crying as if they were in pain, bored out of their minds because they wanted so badly to be attached to the sleds (which means they actually get to move around). I asked a couple of the workers there to see if they ever get time to roam around without being chained and they said no. They eat raw eggs and their paws and some of their necks were bloodied and sore (either from the chains on their necks or the hard tracking conditions for their feet).
Quite a few of my students were equally disgusted to see such cruelty and abuse towards the dogs. The dogs are treated as slave workers and privy to any affection. I highly advise you to think twice about supporting such an organization to which animal abuse is the norm and compassion is a questionable feat.
