Cameo was established in 1960 as a sofa and sofa-bed manufacturer in Montreal, Quebec. The company gained success and notoriety through their superior quality of sofa-beds. That continues until today and has improved through new systems and mechanisms for an even better sleep. In 2013, under new management, the brand name Cameo was revamped and renamed as “Cameo Collection”. Today our 8000-square foot showroom features trendy and innovative pieces and accessories. Cameo Collection specializes in custom upholstered furniture such as sofa-beds, sofas, sectionals, chairs, kitchen benches, headboards, beds, bunk beds, murphy beds, dining tables, dining chairs and much more. We have recently added lighting, furniture, rugs, and accessories that are available to purchase to decorate for your space and as gifts for various occasion. The Cameo Collection concept allows clients and designers to create their own pieces to fit their needs and specifications. The showroom has become a tool that allows clients to simply make changes and modifications by blending models, changing dimensions and configurations. The gallery is filled with a large array of fabrics, leathers, nail studs in different colours, textures, and styles. Fabrics are also available with various types of treatments against stains for a worry free living. This process, whether it is a custom or standard piece, could be delivered in 3-6 weeks. Every Cameo frame is made with Canadian kiln-dried Birch or Maple hardwood, handmade by our factory in Montreal, Canada. The frame is constructed using countersink screws, high pressure staples, wood glue and corner blocks for extra strength, durability, comfort and support. Cameo offers a lifetime warranty on their frames. We are especially proud that we are manufacturing here in Montreal. We’re proud to be able to employ Canadian workers and create Canadian products. This is beneficial to clients and designers because aside from buying a Canadian product, they are paying manufacturer rates and not retail prices. From the start, Cameo was known for its high and long lasting quality.
