Much beloved by those of us in the community, the Beaches neighborhood of Toronto is not only a place but it is also a state of mind. Nestled within sight of downtown Toronto, the Beaches neighborhood meanders along the shores of Lake Ontario and defined by a quiet tree lined boardwalk, long beaches with gentle breaking waves, and cool green parks.
Life in the Beaches is active, eclectic, humane, gently eccentric, artistic, relaxed and fun. People are passionately devoted to family, animals, the environment, authentic food and drink, music, art, community, history, politics, fitness, and multi-culturalism. Much like any beach around the world.
