These people are incompetent, negligent and useless. They miss visits, and don't bother to call or to make alternate arrangements, which puts seriously ill clients at risk. The people in the office do not communicate information, or do what they say they're going to do (ie. PSWs were sent to my grandmother's place without being told what to do, or even how to get into the house; it also took two months for Bayshore to change the contact number they had on file so that they were calling my mother instead of my 94 year old, Italian-speaking grandmother). Most recently, we needed a nurse to put an IV in, because my grandmother had blood poisoning. We were told no nurses were available (not even the single on-call nurse, who was out of town and, therefore, not on-call) and they didn't know when they'd find one for us. My mother has been doing their job for them, by informing PSWs of their duties (because Bayshore can't be trusted), calling my grandmother every morning to make sure someone has come to take care of her (again, because Bayshore can't be trusted) and picking up the slack when nobody shows up.
This organization is going to kill someone. I hope it's nobody you know.
