REQUEST FOR DONATION TO BUILD AL-BAAQI MASJID
Assalamu Alaykum
Dear Brother,
Al-Baaqi Foundation is Federally Incorporated as a non-profit and Registered Charity Organization dedicated exclusively to provide religious, education and humanity services.
By the grace of Allah, we have planned to build a Masjid at 4044 Campbell Street in Harbour Landing West, Regina. We need to raise funds to cover our costs of building this House of Allah to keep us and our next generation under the light of Islam. In this phase, the total cost to build this Masjid including sisters and children separate prayer facilities will be about $1.5 million. All we need are a few SPECIAL brothers and sisters chosen by Allah (SWT) to donate what they can to help us build this new Masjid for our Regina Muslim Community and next generation.
“Whoever builds a Masjid, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Bukhari]
We currently have more than 17,000 Muslim populations in Regina and surrounding areas and more than 5,000 of them are children who are going to non-Islamic academic school. We need more than one Islamic school for this growing community. If we are unable to reach our fundraising target, we WON’T be able to create proper Islamic environment for our children and next generation. The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allah gives manifold increase to whom He pleases. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures' needs, All-Knower. [Qur'an- Surah Al-Baqara: Ayat, 261]
